It was a little tough getting back into the swing of driving a stock car. Having been driving a Mazda for 3 straight days. Friday night at the track was eventful to say the least. This was only my second time running New Kingsport Speedway in Kingsport, TN. The first practice I used to get used to the car again and feel the car out since my wreck last August at Bristol. The second practice I pushed it a little harder and my times picked up. When I went out to qualifying I broke an axel and didn’t get to qualify. My dad, Mark, David, and Paul all worked extremely hard to get it fixed before the race. They finished just as the cars were getting lined up, so I hopped in and started the race last. The car didn’t ever really feel right the whole race. Therefore, we are going to have to work to see what else might be wrong.

Can’t wait to get back on track soon! Stay tuned and be sure to watch “Rookies to Racers” this Saturday at 8:00 pm on The Discovery Channel!
